[The accused present]

[Upon commencing at 9.30 a.m.]
-
Good morning and welcome. I don't know if everybody is getting a re-echo. Madam Court Attendant, could you please check if there is a problem with the interpreters as we're hearing ourselves and the interpreter.
-
I believe we have the interpretation on channel 1. The interpreters are on the wrong language - the wrong channel, excuse me.
-
I've checked and I'm on channel 1 as well. Anyway, welcome back Mr Munyard and I'll take appearances. I hope you are fully recovered. Mr Koumjian?
-
Good morning, your Honours. For the Prosecution this morning Nicholas Koumjian and Maja Dimitrova, thank you.
-
Mr Munyard?
-
Good morning, Madam President, your Honours, counsel opposite. For the Defence there's myself, Terry Munyard, and Morris Anyah, and can I start by apologising for the disruption that my illness earlier this week caused. I have to say that I weathered the tropical storm of dysentery the whole time I was in Sierra Leone and Liberia, but it was nothing compared to the hurricane that hit me here in The Hague on Monday.
-
I will retrain from commenting on standards in Holland. It may not go down well.
-
I'm only talking about the weather.
-
I trust that you've fully recovered. In view of the fact that the witness has not been in the witness box for some weeks, I will have the witness resworn. Please swear the witness again, Madam Court Attendant.
