  • Good morning, Mr President, your Honours, counsel opposite. For the defence today myself Courtenay Griffiths, assisted by my learned friend Mr Morris Anyah, and we are joined by Mr Issac Ip and Haydee Dijkstal, both of Whom have been with us before, who are interns in our office.

    Mr President, before I sit down, can I thank the Court for the indulgence of allowing me a few extra days to recover. I am not feeling perfect, but I am lot better than I was last week and I thank everyone for all the messages of goodwill.
